Social Service

The Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations introduced Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) as a mandatory part of its curriculum.

However Social and Community Service has been an integral part of St. Jude's High School since its inception. Every attempt is made to promote a wider understanding of society through interactions with important and well known personalities in the area of community service and assistance to the under privileged.

The school also encourages tree planting, water conservation and waste recycling. The students have participated in the campaign "Clean Kolkata, Green Kolkata", where they cleaned the areas adjoining the school and received Certificates of Appreciation
